White walls. Dark wood. Blue skies. A birch in the garden. And meadows, forests and mountains – as far as the eye can reach. That's where you find the Casa Cadruvi in Obersaxen Giraniga, 1200 metres above sea level. The house was built in 1798 and gently renovated as a "Walserhaus" in 1975.
The house is old and simple. But it offers everything that nature loving people need for a happy holiday: 3 bedrooms with a total of 6 beds, kitchen with dishwasher, bathroom with shower (renovated in 2013), WC (renovated in 2013), living room with stereo, TV and DVD/Bluray player, large study/lounge, garage, porch, terrace, garden and central heating.
Obersaxen Giraniga ist one of the 29 hamlets that belong to the typical "Walser" municipality of Obersaxen. The centre of Obersaxen is Meierhof, which you can reach from Giraniga on foot (20 min.), by bus (5 min.) by car (3 min.), by bike (10 min.). There you find restaurants, a grocery store, a church, sports stores and the valley station of the mountain lifts.
